Sometimes I just can’t believe how quickly my little guys have grown. This is my brood. 10, almost 6 and 2. I can’t believe how big they are! Oh wait, I said that already!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We spent ours with family and at church, eating and laughing. I think the kids had an especially good time and I think that’s what family holidays are all about.

Yesterday I kind of took a day off. A close friend needed help and I honestly need to just hang out with my kids and so, that’s what I did. I didn’t work or return many emails. I avoided Facebook as much as I could. Instead, I dyed eggs with 5 sweet children, I planted seeds, I played. Gosh I miss playing.
I think it’s all to easy to forget how quickly kids grow up. My guess is next year I will not have a green handed 2 year old or a 10 year old who still believes. My children are quickly growing.
I think that’s why my job is so important, even if I do have to take off a day or two. I capture these moments for other people. It’s a good thing, a really good thing.

Welcome to the world little Maddie. And thank you Mama for letting me come and help welcome her into the world! I am sure when she gets home everyone will just smoother her with kisses!

Mahaha! Ok that one is a total joke. That my sister boyfriend, he helped me test my lighting a little before the sessions began and I got this fun shot. I LOOOOVE them so much and I always enjoy working with my family. I’ve been very blessed with a good one by blood and a good one by heart.
This little guy shares the same name AND haircut of my middle son. His mom is a rockstar too and I am glad I got a few minutes to spend with her and her boy and his Iron Man too! Kids are awesome and this one takes the cake.
This little boy I knew as a belly. This was the first shot of the session and maybe my favorite. Hope his Daddy isn’t offended when I say he’s pretty enough to be a girl. That baby will be in movies some day but honestly, he’s got good genes! And a great family too boot.
Will post a few more later. I am deep in “Spring Cleaning” and I gotta make a run to the thrift shoppe before the middle child gets home and sees I am getting rid of stuff, AGHH!
