What beautiful babies! I was so excited when I got the call to come and shoot these beautiful little ones, a boy and a girl! Tiny and sweet, I could of held them all day!

And a little beauty? She’s gonna break hearts! Just a little sneak for the family! Busy week and lots more sneaks to come!

This was a cool shoot. I’d meet Alicia awhile and we’d had talk of shooting something else so I was incredibly happy when she emailed about maternities! That meant a baby, one I am sure will be as beautiful as her and her husband! I can’t wait to meet that little guy! Got some neat shots outside too but those will have to wait for now! Just a few to share today!

Saturday I participated in the “I <3 Faces” Photo Walk across America. It was really a neat thing to do. I got to work with some fantastic models and fun local photographers!

I especially love going and having the opportunity to mess around with ideas that have been sitting in the back of my head. I get a little test before I can use them on clients! It’s a great way to figure out what works and what doesn’t. It’s an great way for me to really flex my creative muscles.

Another perk? Meeting great people. The bride and groom above are church planters and amazing musicians. Great couple. All the models were amazing  and it was such a pleasure to work with everyone. Even if I do get a little bossy, hee hee! That was a joke!

Me, my friend Jen and some other great gals are taking Mother’s day to walk for a cure!

May 9th, we’re walking the 5k for the Susan B. Komen Foundation and to celebrate Gail Anne Photography is not only having a mini sessions but I am giving them away with a small donation to the cause.

You can enter more then one child but you will only receive one free 5×7 at mini sessions.

Images can be the single child or a group of children.

Gail Anne Photography is not responsible for the outcome of the Miller’s Contest. I do not judge and am not responsible for the prize money (although I hope one of my kiddos wins).

11×14 contest will run May 10 through May 24. Winner will receive a free mounted 11×14 of their contest entry. There is no substitutions. Winner will receive their image within 90 days of contest end.

*The online contest will consist of four different qualifying rounds and one final round. Each round will last for one month. For each qualifying round, the top five winners will be selected from the four categories. These winning portraits will be entered into the Final Round, which takes place during the month of July. The Final Round will be judged online by a panel of esteemed photographers. First, Second, and Third places, as well as two Honorable Mentions, will be announced for each category! Cash prizes for these winners include $2,000 for First, $1,000 for Second, $750 for Third, and $500 for each Honorable Mention. One portrait from the Final Round will also receive the highest of accolades — Grand Prize Winner. The cash prize will be $5,000 for this lucky winner! All cash prizes will be given to the families of the winning portraits.Miller’s Baby & Child Contest Rules
All portraits taken January 1- June 21, 2010 are eligible for entry into the 2010 Baby & Child Contest.
Voters will have the ability to flag any image they feel does not meet the guidelines of the contest. Flagged images will be reviewed prior to the announcement of round winners to ensure the winning images do meet contest standards.
Participants may post one image per child from each photography session. Miller’s reserves the right to delete multiple submissions from one session.
Participants are not limited on the amount of images they can post.
It is the responsibility of the participant to format pictures correctly and according to the category prior to posting the image. Miller’s will not reformat images once submitted and reserves the right to delete any submission that fails to meet these requirements.
Miller’s reserves the right to delete any submission that is inappropriate in nature.
Miller’s will not use any participants’ images without prior consent.
We ask that all images remain anonymous. Please refrain from placing studio logos or text on any images.
Children age 12 and under can be entered into the contest.
Maternity shots do not fall within any of the available categories.
