It has been a long winter- Philadelphia Portrait Photographer

I ventured out to get a new hairdo. Gosh I needed a normal haircut. I guess normal for me. I got the good ol’ messy cut I love, finally. Thank goodness.

If you need a good haircut? I got the place for you. Jenn at Alura Salon and Spa will hook you up!

Their website is currently getting a facelift so I encourage you to check back often! You won’t be sorry!

My “new” do.

And rockstar attitued.

Ohhh you poor blog- Montco Family Photographer

I had this goal of constantly keeping my blog updated but as you probably see, I am failing miserably. That’s ok, that means I am busy and busy is always good.

This last weekend Gail Anne Photography offered several women a very special Boudoir session and I am proud to say it was a BIG hit! Beautiful women and pictures I am really proud of. Nope, sorry no sneak, they’ll go on a “special” website at a later time but for now, I am keeping it a BIG secret! And some pretty ones they were!

Just a reminder, Gail Anne Photography is offering an intro to photography session on Saturday, February 20th. It’s 40.00 and this is the only time the price will be that low. It’s my “test” course! If you’d like more information please email me at gail@gailannephotography.com

Have a great weekend you all! Even if it doesn’t start till tomorrow!

300+ Facebook Fans – Philadelphia Family/Portrait Photographer

I am so very proud that I have hit 300 Facebook fans. Near and far, each and everyone are important to me! So to celebrate I am giving away a session to one lucky fan AND reader. What do you need to do? Comment here that you’ve become or are a Facebook fan and I will enter you for a chance at not only a FREE session but a FREE 11×14 enlargement of your favorite photo from the session.

That’s it!

Oh wait, want another chance? Tell your friends…. then let me know in another comment you posted it on Twitter, Facebook or a local Philadelphia forum!

I will announce the winner February 7th, 2010!

Easy peezy!

And don’t forget the February 20th class! Be there or be square!

Photography Class

I am so excited to be offering a beginners photography class on Saturday, February 20th from 3-5pm. It’s my first one so that makes it even cooler! What should you expect to walk away from this class with?

  • How to break out of the “auto and program” modes on your camera
  • How to avoid using flash
  • What is shutter and aperture
  • What is white balance anyway?
  • ISO is what?
  • Lighting indoors and out.
  • When to use your flash
  • Composing that shot- rule of thirds, getting close, change that angle

And hopefully more! This hopefully will be the first class of many. I am only taking a few students to start. Please register soon to make sure you get in!

The class fee is 40.00. It includes the class, access to a private forum you can use for talking after the class and photo critic and a special “gift”. If course a class booklet as well!

To sign up, click here.

You will need to bring your camera and manual. We will take a few minutes to step outside and do a few shots for you to later upload to the forum!
